Custom Drawer Fronts
Adding Drawers to a Built In Cubby
This existing hallway built-in has two cabinet doors with flat panels but the existing drawers did not match, they had flat faces.
The homeowner wanted to dress up the drawer fronts a bit and match them to the doors.
New Drawer Faces
We made new custom drawer fronts with poplar and and 3/8 inch birch plywood.
The birch panel floats in a cope and stick style styles and rails.
We fastened these new fronts to the existing drawers with screws from the inside and installed knob hardware through both the drawer front and drawer box.
These new custom drawer fronts now match the existing cabinet doors and make the built0in look like a complete well thought out plan.
