Milwaukee M12 Cordless 2-Beam Plumb Laser Kit 2320-21M12 Cordless 2-Beam Plumb Laser  2320-21 review:

Milwaukee recently sent me their  Milwaukee M12 Cordless 2-Beam Plumb Laser Kit 2320-21 to evaluate and review.

The M12 Cordless 2-Beam Plumb Laser is the first of its kind to operate on a power tool battery. Powered by M12 Lithium-Ion, it is compatible with the M12 cordless system, and delivers 75% more run-time than the competition. In addition, a self-leveling mechanism ensures an accurate auto plumb up to 1/4″ at 100 feet, and an out of level indicator blinks when the leveling range exceeds four degrees.

First Impression:

The  M12 Cordless 2-Beam Plumb Laser comes with one M12 lithium-ion battery and is easy to understand and use.  It is also super light at 1.44 pounds.  I really liked the sturdy plastic tool case that it comes in.  Many of today’s laser levels come in nylon storage bags. Nice touch!Milwaukee M12 Cordless 2-Beam Plumb Laser Kit 2320-21

Using the  M12 Cordless 2-Beam Plumb Laser

The  M12 Cordless 2-Beam Plumb Laser has a self leveling mechanism that provides an accurate  auto plumb up to 1/4″ at 100 feet.  I compared them to several spirit levels and it was dead on accurate from my shop floor to the ceiling.

I liked the low battery indicator that Milwaukee provides on all of their M12 cordless tools.  The one button on / off switch makes for simple operation.

Overall Impression:

This tools is very use specific, it is lightweight, compact and has powerful bright laser points.   It provides a plumb points only and would be very useful setting posts, columns or pipes.  Other than that I could not find another use for it.   The magnet was not as strong as I would have like to have seen.  I tried it on metal studs and pipe and it slipped a little.

This tool comes with a two year warranty and sells for approx. $ 149.00 online.
