I love new and innovative products.  The post protector seems to be one of those -Please note that I have not tested this yet.Wood Post Protector

Wood posts are popular for many projects including barns, decks, pergolas, mail boxes, play sets and light posts.

The problem we all face is rot, decay and insect damage.  Longevity is always a concern anytime we put wood in the ground.

The Post Protector offers a solution.  The Post Protector creates a “barrier system” between the wood and soil. By eliminating the soil-to-wood contact decay is avoided and pressure treated chemical migration into soil is prevented.

I do not have any projects to test this out on but I will see what I can drum up and report back to you folks.
