Cleanstream HEPA Filter

Cleanstream Hepa Filter
Cleanstream HEPA Filter For Workshop Vacuum

I recently decided to make a serious effort to improve the dust collection in my shop. My approach was to focus on improving how I create dust as well as capture it in my workshop.

One tactic was to purchase a Cleanstream Hepa Filter for my Rigid Shop vacuum. I purchased a Cleanstream HEPA filter at Lowes.

What is a HEPA Filter?

A HEPA vacuum is a vacuum cleaner designed with a high-efficiency particulate air filter [HEPA]   A HEPA filter is a filter that is capable of capturing particles of 0.3 microns with 99.97% efficiency. The vacuum cleaner must be designed so that all the air drawn into the machine is expelled through the HEPA filter.

Easy to Clean

The HEPA filter is made by GoreTM CleanStream®. These filters clean easily by simply tapping or rinsing to use over and over again.
I’ve found that the filters maintain vacuum suction longer than ordinary paper filters and they even resist clogging with no need to remove the filter between projects.
This filter also works great on the job site where it picked up dry wall dust pick-up and did not shoot it out the back exhaust port.

These filters fit RIDGID® or Craftsman® Red wet/Dry Vacs.
