Milwaukee Cordless M18 FUEL Milwaukee Cordless M18 FUEL SAWZALL Brush-less Reciprocating  Saw

The folks at Milwaukee Tool recently introduced their new Milwaukee Cordless M18 FUEL Sawzall 2720-22 that actually has the power to compete with a corded reciprocating saw.   I know this because I used it with an XC4.0 Ah battery and tested it against a corded reciprocating saw – impressive to say the least! The M18 battery and electronic deliver up to 2X more run time, 30% faster cutting, and 5X longer tool life.

Power and Runtime

I haven’t tested it against other 18 volt reciprocating saws yet, but the folks at Milwaukee claim its the most powerful in its class.  I’m thinking they may be right. At 0-3000 strokes per minute with a 1-1/8″ blade stroke, this saw really cuts fast and well.

The secret to this tool power is the relationship between their advanced brush-less motor, super-secret electronics, and their REDLITHIUM™ XC4.0 battery packs.  This three-way combination packs a punch!

The battery packs operate cooler and now perform with fade-free power in colder climates ranging from 0 °F/-18°C. The M18 FUEL™ features an LED light, hanging hook, fuel gauge on the adjustable shoe, and kick-ass corded power! Watch for this tool this October of 2013.
