Spyder Scraper and Spyder Grout-Out Blades

Use the Power of a Reciprocating Saw to Remove Stubborn, Stuck-on Adhesives, Grout and More

Spyder Products is expanding its line of professional grade tool attachments that use the power of a reciprocating saw and is adding two new blade sizes to its original Spyder Scraper.  Spyder Products is also introducing a new power grout removal tool called the Spyder Grout-Out.

The tool attachments fit any brand of reciprocating saw. Users simply insert them the same way they would saw blades. When the reciprocating saw is turned on and run at half speed, the Spyder-enhanced tool provides the power to remove paint, wallpaper, linoleum, laminate flooring, glue, carpeting, thin-set, drywall mud and now even grout, quickly and easily.

“Spyder Products convert tough, tedious, time-consuming manual projects into a power-driven process that can be completed in a fraction of the time,” says Ryan Campbell, general manager for Spyder Products. “The blades are manufactured from spring steel hardened and tempered to remove tough, stuck-on stuff without damaging surfaces underneath. And, the tools can also be sharpened just like any other blade.”

Spyder Scraper –Power Scraping Tools for Residential and Commercial Jobs

The Spyder Scraper, now available in 2”, 4” and 6” sizes, can be used to remove glue, thin-set, tape, drywall mud, paint, wallpaper, linoleum, laminate flooring, rubber-backed carpet and more. The blade can be re-sharpened to maintain a fine, consistent edge.

▪ 2” Spyder Scraper: Ideal for accurate, precision scraping and chiseling of materials like tough glue, thin-set, vinyl composition tile and ceramic tile adhesives.
▪ 4” Spyder Scraper: Designed to remove semi-tough materials like linoleum, paint, adhesives and drywall mud.
▪ 6” Spyder Scraper: The widest of the trio, this blade is designed to cover maximum surface area on softer materials including wallpaper, rubber-backed carpet and paint.

Spyder Grout-Out – Precision Power Grout Removal Tool

The company’s newest attachment, the Spyder Grout-Out, is designed to power through tough grout on tile removal, repair or re-grouting jobs.
The one piece blade features a compact design for ease of use in tight spaces. This, coupled with the durable, tungsten carbide grit edge, delivers optimal performance and speed in situations where precision and attention to detail are mandatory.

Two blade sizes, a narrow and a wide, are available for use on grout joints ranging from 1/16” to 3/16” wide and up. Once the grout is removed, users can insert and leverage the strength of a Spyder Scraper blade to snap out the loose tiles, usually in one piece.

Spyder Products are sold individually or in multi-pack kits at retailers around the US and Canada including Ace Hardware, True Value, Do it Best, Orchard Supply Hardware, Sutherlands and Home Hardware. Prices range from $9.99 to $42.99. For more information and store locations, visit spyderproducts.com or call 800-471-2239
