Factory finished siding is a pre-applied quality paint finish application that is available in quality paints. A factory applied finish ensures the best performance of the finish.
Properly finishing your siding [back-priming and end grain sealing] protects the wood from moisture absorption and UV degradation, helps prevent staining caused by mildew and extractive and will increase the service life of top coats.
