DEWALT recently introduced the DEWALT 2.5 Gallon Ultimate Trim Compressor with a lower decibel rating. This was welcome to me my customers and my ears.

In designing the DWFP55130 compressor DEWALT focused on three main categories that pros found the most important;

Weight and Size
Weighing in at 37 pounds, the DEWALT 2.5 Gallon Ultimate Trim Compressor is lightweight and at 14 inches wide it takes up very little landscape in the truck.
Noise
The DWFP55130 compressor provides 3.0 SCFM at 90 PSI and a 200 max PSI rating. This allows the user to install nails for long periods of time and with a quick compressor recovery time.
It is exceptionally quiet, with only a 71.5 dBA operational noise level. you have to hear this compressor to believe how much less noise it makes.
