Milwaukee Radio 2792-20

Milwaukee M18 Bluetooth Job Site Radio with Charger 2792-20

In the residential and construction remodeling world a job-site radio is almost as important and a thermos of hot coffee during work and a cold beer after work.

I have to admit I go into writing this article already a Milwaukee radio user. I own and operate the Milwaukee 2590-20. I first detailed this radio in my Job-Site Radio Comparison article.

Here is the first look at Milwaukee’s newest radio the Milwaukee M18 Bluetooth Radio  2792-20.   This radio measures 12″x 12″ x 15, weighs a whopping 18-pounds and features Bluetooth technology that will work up to 100’ away from the radio.

A USB port in the weather proof storage compartment is 2.1Amp which means it can charge larger electronics such as tablets. The storage compartment is large enough for larger phones and has a ledge to place multiple smart phones or even a tablet.

The radio can be used as a charging station in both AC and DC mode, powered off the M18 batteries. A built-in charger makes for quick, convenient charging of all M18 batteries .

The Milwaukee M18 Bluetooth Radio  2792-20 is using a new digital processor tuner and claims it has the best reception and clarity.

The 2792-20 features a customizable equalizer, 10-Station Preset, 4 speakers in the front of the radio and a 40 watt amplifier. The radio is protected by a heavy duty roll cage and oh yea a bottle opener on the side! Milwaukee thinks of everything!

Look for the Milwaukee M18 Bluetooth Radio  2792-20 in February 2014.
