IRWIN Marples NEW Saw Blade Series

Next week I travel to Venice, Italy to attend the Irwin Marples saw blade media event.

The event is to preview  the new IRWIN Marples Woodworking Series Saw Blade.   A trip to IRWINS state of the art, saw blade facility, located in Udine, Italy, will be the highlight of the event along with exclusive access to Giorgio Pozzo.

Giorgio is considered one of the foremost sawblade experts and has over 30 years experience with saw blade manufacturing.

The new IRWIN Marples Woodworking Series saw  blade is expected to be released this August 2012.  These blades are touted to be manufactured to the highest standards of precision required for woodworking and finish carpentry.

Marples has long been a standard for woodworkers and carpenters with an outstanding reputation for sharp, good quality, edged tools.    Dating back to 1828 in  Sheffield, England  the Marples tool brand has lived in many a craftsman toolbox.

IRWIN is now continuing the long trend of quality and reliability with the new Marple Woodworking series saw blade.   I’m looking forward to reporting back to you my thoughts.

IRWIN Marples Woodworking Series Saw Blade Features:

The new saw blade line is designed with a thin kerf and laser cut steel plate.  A non stick coating reduces gumming and sharp carbide teeth keep this blade sharper longer.  Extra sharp, over-sized carbide teeth

  • Precision tensioned
  • Heat resistant, non-stick  coating reduces gumming
