SENCO Auto-Feed Screw Driving System

By Robert Robillard on Remodeling

Senco Auto-Feed Screw Driving System Featuring DuraSpin:

Senco, recently introducted two new corded auto-feed screwdriver systems featuring DuraSpin technology: the DS325AC and the DS340AC.

Designed for the Pro who is looking for a solution to save time and backbreaking labor when dealing with high volume screw fastening applications.

The Senco Auto-Feed Screw Driving Systems includes a Senco screwdriver, an industrial grade aluminum auto-feed screw attachment, a 21-inch extension pole for standing applications, a nylon storage bag and extra drive bits.

The extension plow allows you to stand comfortable and install sub-floor level screws rapidly and easily.   The extension pole is easily removed and the screw attachment can be used for close quarter or vertical wall sheathing screw applications.

I used both options in my shop when testing this tool and was impressed by the speed and accuracy I was able to install screws into 3/4″ plywood.   The screws come on a plastic sleeve that auto feeds through the drill.   I was able to accurately install 25 screws in 40 seconds with no jams or misfeeds.

Video demostrating the SENCO Auto-Feed Screw Driving System:

I have not had the opportunity to use this tool in the fiend yet but hope to soon.  I can see home builders and re-modelers using this tool to save time and labor when installing sub-floor, sheathing, wood or composite decking.

The auto-feed mechanism allowed me to install 20 screws in less than 35 seconds with no jams or misfeeds.    A ten foot power cord is also appreciated when using this tool.

Look for the drill and auto feed to sell at approximately $219 for more information visit www.senco.com
