2009 Remodeling COST vs VALUE Report

The 2009-2010 Remodeling Cost vs. Value is out. Over the years this report has been a great barometer of the residential remodeling and real estate markets.

The most obvious result is that the remodeling market has become fiercely competitive leading to many remodelers laying off, reducing overhead, and working for less profit in order to stay busy.

Almost every category is listed as down with exception of an upscale bathroom addition and a viynal siding replacement. Vinyl? YUK!!!
