Rob is a general contractor, carpenter, woodworker, Boston Globe correspondent, editor of Concord Carpenter and principal of “A Concord Carpenter, LLC,” a carpentry and renovation business located in Concord, Massachusetts.

As a carpenter and web editor Rob is a recognized leader in tool and how-to information for building professionals, he is the carpenter correspondence for and writes a Q&A article in the Sunday Boston Globe called Rob Robillard’s Ask the Carpenter Column.   He hosts the Concord Carpenter Cable TV Show, offering the do-it-yourself audience in Boston’s Metro West region expert advice on home repairs and maintenance.

Rob is a regular contributor to DIY magazine Extreme-How-To Magazine and is assistant editor at ToolBoxBuzz,  A website get a kid it to tool reviews and product testing .  He is also a tool safety and training coordinator for Push America with their yearly “Build America” project.   

Build America is a six week team event, where a team of college men travel the country promoting and constructing  accessible environments and camps serving the disability community.
