Table Saw Auxiliary Fence

Auxiliary Table Saw Or Sacrificial Fence

When I say Table Saw Auxiliary Fence or sacrificial fence I mean a wood fence that I can run a saw blade up against without damage and easily change out when I cut into it.

An Table Saw Auxiliary Fence is incredibly valuable.   It protects the facing of your table saw fence (as well as your saw blade).

Another great feature of an auxiliary fence is it allows you too be able to clamp a face board along your table saw rip fence or screw stop blocks into the fence.

Auxiliary fences allows you the flexibility to recess a dado blade slightly into the fence board for end cuts or micro adjustments.  This also allows you to cut different width rabbets without always having to readjust the width of the dado head.

A table saw auxiliary fence is easy to make with scrap material and will be an asset to the shop.
