Ryobi Power ScrubberRyobi 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Power Scrubber

Ryobi Power Scrubber cordless cleaning solutions can simplify the cleaning tasks of most weekend warriors.  Each scrubber is water-resistant and they each have their own strengths.

The power scrubber cleaning solutions were invaluable when I spent my weekend cleaning our two stairways, our LL Bean Waterhog Doormats, and the car mats from our two Subaru vehicles.  For all of my cleaning, I used Simple Green as a cleaning solution.

Ryobi Telescoping Power Scrubber P4500

The 18V ONE+ Cordless Telescoping Power Scrubber (P4500) could extend up to 51 inches, which was great ergonomically speaking since it allowed me to stand upright while scrubbing the stairs, doormats, and car mats.

All RYOBI Power Scrubber tools have an IPX7 Water Resistance Rating, allowing our cleaning tools to be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes. This 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Power Scrubber is compatible with additional interchangeable triangle connection brushes in the RYOBI Cleaning Accessories lineup

Ryobi Power Scrubber Specifications

This scrubber joins the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 125 cordless tools that all run on the same 18V Lithium-ion batteries!

Using the Ryobi Cordless Power Scrubber P4510

The triangle connector maintained a secure connection throughout the cleaning and the battery was still greater than 50% after almost 120 minutes of work.  There was enough power in the Telescoping Scrubber that I needed to hold it with 2 hands when running it across the stairs.

The articulating head can be positioned in 6 different positions, allowing you the flexibility to approach each scrubbing situation at the right angle.  The Telescoping Scrubber and the Compact Scrubber both have an IPX7 water resistance rating and the battery compartment (which accepts all of the Ryobi 18-volt ONE+ Lithium-ion batteries) was completely sealed with a plastic cover, a gasket, and a latch.

The handheld 18V ONE+ Cordless Power Scrubber (P4510) also performed really well throughout my cleaning tasks.  The triangle connector twists and locks into place for a secure connection. I appreciated the handheld P4510 because it allowed me to bend down and put additional elbow grease into the toughest stains.

I felt like the P4510 had a slightly higher RPM than the P4500, which was great for the more stubborn stains.  The medium bristle brush was powerful enough to remove most of the grime on my stairs and car mats, though I would be intrigued to try the 6-inch hard bristle brush (A95HB1) for the toughest stains.

Ryobi 6-Inch Medium Nylon Brush A95MB1 MSRP: $12.97

The 6-inch medium bristle nylon brush (A95MB1) came with both tools and they showed almost no wear after almost 2 hours of work. This brush is great for tile, siding, and a variety of other cleaning applications.

Ryobi 4V Cordless Compact Scrubber P4400 MSRP: $49.00

The 4V Cordless Compact Scrubber (P4400) was less powerful than its two bigger brothers, but it was still useful for a variety of applications and it also has an IPX7 water resistance rating, allowing our cleaning tools to be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes.

This scrubber has an internal 4-volt battery that is charged with the included micro USB charging cable; a charging indicator alerts you when the scrubber is fully charged.  The compact design enabled me to use it on the stair risers and inside the grooves of our car mats and the 2 doormats.  This model can fit in all of the places that the 6-inch heads cannot.  The 4V Cordless Compact Scrubber is compatible with brushes that have a hex shank connection.

The 4-Volt Cordless Compact Scrubber is compatible with additional interchangeable brushes that have the hex shank connection.

Conclusion

The trio of Ryobi Power Scrubber cordless cleaning solutions can simplify the cleaning tasks of most weekend warriors.  Each scrubber is water-resistant and they each have their own strengths.

My stairs were all significantly cleaner at the end and the car mats and doormats looked as good as new–the added bonus was I didn’t have to expend as much physical labor to clean them.  In addition to cleaning hard surfaces outside, these tools can help you clean your hard surfaces—like tile and grout—inside the home.  If you already own several 18-volt ONE+ batteries, these scrubbers will certainly help you maintain the cleanliness of your home.
