RIDGID® 238-P Powered Soil Pipe Cutter 
If your a plumber or mechanical contractor you’ll appreciate that the folks at RIDGID have designed a compact, lightweight drill attachment that is designed for plumbers and mechanical contractors when cutting soil pipe in tight overhead clearance situations such as in rafter or wall bays as well as below ground.
Soil pipe cutters are the fastest way to cut cast iron soil pipe, clay pipe, and small diameter concrete pipe.
The RIDGID 238-P Powered Soil Pipe Cutter is the latest addition to their pipe cutting lineup, it weighs only 13.5 pounds and is only and 11.5” long.
The RIDGID 238-P Powered Soil Pipe Cutter attaches to a ½” impact driver, and incorporates a cutting chain that can effortlessly cut no-hub cast iron, service weight cast iron and clay pipe up to 8” in diameter and concrete pipe up to 6” in diameter.
This cutter has a two-directional operation which allows the user to score pipe before cutting, resulting in a cleaner cut. The tool has a torque limit which protects it from overloading.
