Paslode Engineered Lumber Nails

Paslode® Engineered Lumber Nails

Engineered lumber is great stuff—until you try to drive a nail into it. It is not uncommon to have to pull out your hammer and sink partially driven nails sticking out of an LVL header.

Paslode’s Engineered Lumber Nail has a coating and a shape to help it sink into engineered lumber without you having to finish the job with your framing hammer.

I got a chance to be one of the first to see this new nail in action at theInternational Builders show in Orlando 2011.

These new nails are designed to increase a contractor’s productivity and maximize profitability by savoing time and arravation when installing and fastening engineered lumber products.

The building industry is using more engineered lumber than ever before. But harder materials like LVL, LSL and PSL make it difficult to sink nails flush the first time.

Contractors waste time fixing or pulling standing and bent nails. Turning up the pressure on compressors to try and overcome this problem doesn’t always work and it means increased fuel costs and more wear and tear on tools and equipment.

The Paslode Engineered Lumber Nails drive flush the first time. No more fixing or pulling nails that don’t drive flush.

Paslode Engineered Lumber Nails are compatible with all Paslode cordless and pneumatic framing nailers and are a perfect compliment to the Paslode PowerFramer™ PF350 pneumatic framing nailer.

Paslode Engineered Lumber Nails are brite 30 degree paper tape collated nails with a full round head and come in sizes of 3-1/4” x .131, 3” x .131 and 3” x .120. They are available in 1,000 count packs.
