Gmaxx Series Saw Blades

Guhdo German Gmaxx Blades – Is it real or hype?Guhdo saw blade

Guhdo, a German tooling company founded in 1908, has just introduced a technologically advanced line of saw blades called Gmaxx Series Saw Blades. If you haven’t yet heard of them, that’s ok I havnt either.  I’m going to ask my friend and woodworking expert Ralf Bagnell about them as well.

The folks at Gmaxx are sending some blades out for me to review – I’ll get back to you soon!

Gmaxx series saw blades are a new line of blade developed for serious professionals and industrial users, with a marketing line of  “where high quality meets affordable pricing.”

The Gmaxx blades are manufactured using a proprietary grinding process for precision-balanced blade bodies. The unique Gmaxx coating, which is thinner, stronger and more uniform over the body of the blade and grinding supposedly processes provide longer blade life and superior blade performance and are designed for use on table saws, radial arm saws and chop / miter saws.

Gmaxx series saw blades are available in a variety of specifications, from 7-1/4″ to 14″ dia. for numerous applications ranging from rip and cross cutting, and include blades designed for plywood, laminate, solid surface, and non-ferrous.

The Gmaxx Blade Coating:

Using an electrostatic process when coating the saw blade, a thinner but stronger coating is applied with a uniform thickness on the blade. The coating protects the blade from rust and resin build up and results in a longer life for the blade. . The coating also reduces friction resulting in less power used by a saw motor.

Gmaxx Series Saw Blade Features:

• No sensitivity to solvent cleaners, simply clean with water and detergent.

• Coating contains no harmful chemicals, earth friendly.

• If used properly, the coating will last the life-time of the blade.

• Precision balanced saw bodies.

• Superior grinding application.

• Noise reduction expansion slots.
