DEWALT Carpentry Quick Check

DEWALT Building Code Reference Books

My crew and I recently stumbled on two building code reference books called DEWALT Carpentry Quick Check Extreme Duty Edition and Building code Reference.

We’ve been using them on the job site as a quick check and find the books have concise, durable, useful and informative as a building code reference quick check.

These two books are impressive job site references and are based on the 2009 International Residential Code and illustrates many of the more common issues, requirements, violations and specs that contractors and builders often need, and quite frankly often forget and need to look up.

The books both cover a range of topics including mathematical calculations, fastener schedules, span tables, load calculations and framing, among many others.

I especially liked the books construction they are made from durable, tear-resistant and water resistant pages that is held together with a heavy-duty spiral binding – no flimsy binding or paper here!    The diagrams and illustrations are clear, concise and easy to follow and were obviously created to help professionals access critical information quickly while on the job site.

Some of the DEWALT books offered are:

  • DEWALT Carpentry Quick Check: Extreme Duty Edition
