Smart Material Placement Can Save Time And Money
1. When delivering remodeling material have the lumber try to have it stacked your framing lumber according to the way you will use it. For example; have the wall studs on top of the rafters so you don’t have to go digging for them.
2. Have the lumber dropped as close as where you will be cutting and installing to eliminate trips back and forth.
3. If you’re working up high or in an attic consider using a lumberyard with a boom truck to lift the lumber to your location. Many drywall companies will deliver and lift lumber for a fee.
