Bayco Night Stick PRO Review

The Night Stick Pro from Bayco is a safety rated flashlight for professionals working around flammable vapors.  It’s safety rated to be used in hazardous workplace environments like the petrochemical industry or for mechanics that work on gas tanks.

Bayco Night Stick PRO

The Night Stick PRO  is intrinsically safe which means that it is designed to eliminate “sparking” which can ignite fumes and cause an explosion or fire.

This light measures at 7.0 in long with a head diameter of  1.8 in. and weights 6.3 oz.

The Bayco Night Stick PRO has a pair of CREE XPE LED bulbs which have a burn life of 50,000 hours.  The LEDS give off 80 lumen’s of light and two control push buttons allow you to choose between a sharp focused flashlight or a flood light.   The light  lasts 14.5 hours.

The Bayco Night Stick PRO is a bright safety yellow color and has a non-slip grip with a pocket clip.  A rugged polymer housing protects it from falls and up to 1 meter of submersion in water.  It carries an IP-67 rating.

Safety Rated:

listed intrinsically safe for use in Class I II III Div 1 Groups A, B, C, D, E, F & G hazardous locations – MSHA approved.

I thought the Night Stick PRO was comfortable to hold and a mechanic friend of mine told me that he uses an intrinsic flashlight when working on or around gas tanks.
