I recently returned from Morocco where two other officers from the Waltham Police Department and I competed as a team (one of 13) in the filming of a new ABC reality show,Expedition Impossible.

Ours team, The Cops, included Me, Officer Dani Henderson and Sergeant James Vaglica (in the photo above).

For more info read this article, Warmly Yours.

Expedition Impossible is a show in which ordinary people attempt the impossible.

13 teams of 3 will compete in an expedition like no other across the Kingdom of Morocco.  Teams will be rappelling down 300 foot cliffs, kayaking rivers, riding camels and mules and summiting mountains. Audiences will see incredible diversity in terrain – snow-capped mountains, sand mountains, Berber villages, dramatic canyons and waterfalls.  Teams will face challenges that will test their ability to work as a team and think under pressure.

Each episode is a new stage of the race. The last team to reach the finish line at the end of each stage is evacuated and their expedition comes to an end. The team that crosses the finish line first at the end of each stage wins bragging rights and gets to hoist and showcase their team flag.

At the end of 10 stunning stages, one team will win the expedition.   Prize for first place – $50,000 and a brand new Ford Explorer for each member of the winning team.

Expedition Impossible was an epic adventure that pushed us past our limits both mentally and physically.

This epic adventure-high drama show airs beginning June 23 at 9:00 p.m. EST on ABC  following the shiow  “Wipeout.”
