I first saw Stiletto tools a number of years ago and have been salivating at the mere thought of them ever since. I did some mountain biking when I was younger and always wanted a titanium framed bike because they were rumored to have nearly magical properties. So being able to have that same kind of magic on the job-site sounded pretty awesome!

First Impressions

Light weight! Nicely cast and machined smooth velvety finish. Love the truss design both visually and functionally.

The reduced weight is very nice on your tool belt. After a day pulling sheathing on a water damage repair job I barely noticed that the tool was on my belt. The dimplier works very well and minimizes damage especially when pulling nails in Sheathing it also makes it much easier to get the claws under the nail head. Speaking of the claws, they are well thought out and do a good job of getting under nail heads even on small head trim nails. The claws are angled well, not too wide, and pointy. The size and 12” length provides good leverage for pulling anything from 6D trim nails to framing spikes.

Downsides

The edges of tool are slightly sharp in the hand. A little rounding of those corners would go a long way. This is my sole complaint about this tool though and it’s basically a quibble considering the overall quality and feel of the tool. And of course price, titanium is expensive and hard to work.

Overall Impression

A very well engineered and made tool that does its job admirably. If you’re tired of your tool belt weighing as much as you do and want a solidly constructed but amazingly light weight pry bar this is the way to go!
