Rebuilding A Mahogany Deck

By Robert Robillard on Uncategorized

Rebuilding A Mahogany Deck:

For those of you that have been following the progress on my recent rebuilding a mahogany deck project, at Henry David Thoreau’s “last house before he died.  The deck was sanded and stained this week.  Looks nice!!

The clapboards, railings, trim and lattice will be painted by the homeowner.

We used a Cabot’s product called Australian Timber Oil on the decking.  The color was called Mahogany Flame.  It gave the mahogany decking a rich, reddish hue.

Time for the barbecue!!!!!
