Cold Beverage Refrigeration Solutions for Entertaining

Autumn is here, and like other homeowners, you might find yourself entertaining others in your home, whether it’s for huddling around the television to watch a football game, in my case the New England Patriots,  or serving your guests pre-Tsummit beer dispeserhanksgiving dinner aperitif cocktails.

The crisp air and colorful leaves make a great backdrop for outdoor entertaining, but whether you’re grilling outside, designing your an outdoor living space or lounging on the couch indoors, there is one thing that will make your experience so much better: a cold one.

In order to enjoy your favorite beverage this fall, whether it is a frothy beer, a chilled cocktail, or your favorite root beer float recipe, you’ve got to have an appliance that won’t let you down when you need it the most. Have you ever had so many people over that the refrigerator door can never seem to keep shut, and your cold ones are with time, getting less and less cold?

I thought I would share some that particularly stand out to me this season.

 Outdoor Beer Dispenser  SCR models

Outdoor kitchens are becoming more and more popular this fall, as guests and entertainers alike migrate outdoors to mingle. An outdoor beer dispenser like the models from the New York-based appliance company, Summit Appliance are made of stainless steel and commercially approved, meaning they have been through tests and are of the same quality of what is used by industry professionals. Summit’s beer dispensers hold up against the outdoor elements while providing a cold one from either their single tap or dual tap systems.

These draft dispensers are frost free, virtually no maintenance needed, and have three layers of weatherproofing in design. Summit Appliance also produces a refrigerator-freezer with a built-in ice machine that doesn’t require a water line to make ice—perfect for the re-purposed patio or deck.

Minibar and Beverage Coolersummit mini bar

If you’re planning on entertaining indoors this fall, Summit has outdoor beverage cooler solutions.

My favorite is the minibar and beverage cooler units provide guests the convenience of having a readily available cold beverage. Ideal for any entertainment area, a minibar or beverage cooler can be placed just within a fingertips reach, and keep your cold ones cold. The minibars are designed for ease of use and are equipped with absorption technology to ensure a noise-free operation.

Under-Counter Minibar

Summit’s under-counter minibar units are also noise-free and equipped with a unique ventilation feature that prevents hot air from getting trapped which, in turn, forces the motor to work harder to cool causing the unit to overheat—a problem that often occurs in under-counter units.

Need More Storage?summit smart storage door

If you require more storage than a minibar but still want to err on the space savvy side, Summit offers a refrigerator-freezer that is only a 24” in width. These units are perfect for suites, or small apartments, or even a galley kitchen in a finished basement. Also, there is the Ingenious line by Summit with a refrigerator that features a “smart storage” fixture: an exterior beverage door, making re-upping on your drinks a breeze. Other features include no-spill shelves, ideal for the clumsiest of beverage grabbers.
