Milwaukee Voltage Detector with LED

I always say SAFETY FIRST!

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation recently released their new CAT IV 1000 volt Voltage Detector with LED.

This voltage tester detects voltage at a wide range of 50-1000 AC and integrates an extra bright LED work light to illuminate the work space.

“We continue to focus on developing tools with great performance and outstanding value,” says Jon Morrow, Director of Marketing, Test and Measurement for Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation. “The new Voltage Detector with LED provides all the features our end users are demanding with an integrated LED work light that is 3 times brighter, an integrated buzzer, and the highest safety rating of CAT IV 1000 volts. Most importantly, we’ve built-in a power-on indicator so that users will always know if their batteries are working before testing.”

The new voltage detector provides a durable tip for checking outlets, and when voltage is present, the tool alerts the user both audibly and with a visual indicator that is visible on all sides.
I plan on testing this tester out in the field and report back to you soon on its performance.
