Milwaukee M12 ProPEX

Milwaukee Cordless  ProPEX Installation Tools

Attention Plumbers and Heating contractors:

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation expands their M12™ and M18™ Lithium-Ion systems with the introduction of the industry’s fastest ProPEX installation tools with auto-rotating ProPEX Expansion Heads.

Designed for easy one-handed use, the M12™ and M18™ ProPEX Expansion tools allow users to install Uponor ProPEX® fittings up to four times faster, and are compatible with over 25 tools on their respective battery platforms for added utility and value.

“Feedback from ProPEX installers was to improve their current installation tool(s). Until now, contractors using the hand tool would be required to maneuver and expand the tube while rotating the head segments slightly, all at the same time.  You can tell this would be awkward, especially in tight quarters,” says Mark Senske, Sr. Product Manager for Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation. “Milwaukee’s new auto-rotating head and continuous expansion design significantly increases productivity by delivering a fast and accurate method for installing ProPEX.”

Inspired by Uponor’s ProPEX® innovation and constructed with legendary Milwaukee® durability, the new tools are built with all-metal gears and an integrated metal frame to withstand even the toughest jobsite conditions. Each tool kit will come with three commonly used accessory heads: The M12™ tool kit will include 1/2”, 3/4” and 1”, while the M18™ tool kit will include 1”, 1-1/4” and 1-1/2”.  The full line of accessory heads will also be sold separately: The M12™ tool will accept 3/8” up to 1” and the M18™ tool will accept 3/8” up to 1-1/2”.

Among the first products powered by REDLITHIUM™ battery technology, the new expansion tools will deliver unmatched performance, durability and run-time for the professional tradesman. With constant innovation in Lithium-Ion and plans to grow the M12™ and M18™ cordless platform in the future, MILWAUKEE® continues to expand its leadership position in cordless.
