Master Mechanics Swift DriverMaster Mechanic Driver Tool – Swift Driver

The folks at Master Mechanics recently came out with a new version of the time tested screw driver.  It’s called the Swift Driver.  We’ve all seen the ratcheting drivers that use a gear and pawl mechanism but the Swift Driver has a different action to it. The user simply holds the tool’s collar and rotates / twists the handle.

The Swift Driver has a bearing and sleeve design that works just like a ratcheting screwdriver without the click – smooth and fast.  The Swift Driver presents itself as a tool that might be handy in tight quarters.

This tool was designed with a rubber over mold grip for comfort and hi-impact plastic handle.  The handle’s base is a knurled steel collar for a positive grip, plus a reversing switch for changing directions. The handle’s tubular shaft has a magnetic catch and accepts standard hex-shank-ed bits. Bit storage is inside the tool’s handle with threaded cap. The 29 piece driver tool includes 7 Phillips bits, 3 slotted, 3 square recess, 4 star, 6 SAE nut driver bits, a flexible extension to access hard-to-reach areas, plus the driver and bit case. Swift Driver™ is backed by a Lifetime Warranty. The Swift Driver will sell for $24.99 and is available only at True Value Stores, look for it in May 2012
