The Bosch JS470E  impressed me.  I found it to be an easy to operate, smooth cutting high-quality performance saw. The 7.0 AMP motor is a plus for power and longevity and the super easy, super fast blade changing system is tough to beat. This little jig saw has a lot to offer.

Duo-Fast Construction Coil Siding Nailer

I have had the Duo-Fast DF225C Coil Siding Nailer for some time now and it has held it’s own on the job site by providing me with a powerful yet lightweight, accurate and productive nailing tool.

Time saved is money earned and this nailer WILL save you time!! In my opinion, the tool less depth of drive adjustment is this nailers best feature and has saved me time and aggravation with it’s pin point accuracy.

I highly recommend this tool to DIYers for any wood siding, decking, trim or fence nailing. It even shoots stainless steel nails.

Because of its compact size, the Paslode T250A is perfect for working above your head or in cramped spaces. It has a real nice weight and balance that plays well with finish work.

The 16 gauge nail approach come in useful when installing moldings on cabinets where splitting expensive or pre-finished stock when driving nails can be costly and is to be avoided at all costs.

It is a real nice nailer for the job site, workshop or DIYer and does a nice job installing door trim, window trim, wainscoting, baseboard, casing, crown molding, and pre-finished components.

DEWALT 12V Lithium Ion Screwdriver DCF610S2

The DEWALT 12 Volt MAX Lithium Ion 1/4″ Screwdriver Kit (DCF610S2) as part of the new 12 Volt MAX cordless platform.  Weighing only 2.2 pounds, this cordless screwdriver is compact and super light. When you think about 2.2 lbs it’s approximately the same weight as an 18 Volt battery.

The DCF610S2 screwdriver is compact but powerful enough to handle a variety of professional contractor jobs.  I see this as an ideal tool for DIYers, remodelers, electricians, cabinet installers, HVAC, woodworkers, maintenance personnel and many others whose jobs rely on fastening and drilling applications but do not require the torque or the weight of an 18 volt tool.

The beauty of this screwdriver is it’s weight and compact size  which translates into less fatigue using the tool and more opportunities to fit it into smaller tight spots like under sinks, inside electrical boxes and a slew of other hard to access places.

The DEWALT, DCF610S2 can drive 207 2-1/2″ cabinet screws on a single battery charge. DeWalt went to directly to the end users at job sites to see what they needed. The result is a powerful, ultra compact screwdriver that is durable and packed with innovative features that increase productivity. The new Screwdriver Kit (DCF610S2) includes two 12 Volt MAX Lithium Ion battery packs, a 40 minute charger, bit tip, belthook and contractor bag in addition to the screwdriver. Rockwell SoniCrafter Oscillating Tool

The Rockwell SoniCrafter is a hand held multiple purpose tool adapted for a wide variety of applications by attaching specially designed accessories on the end of the oscillating shaft. I found the SoniCrafter very useful when splicing in exterior house trim like window sills, corner boards, sofit cuts and water table as seen below.

The tool cuts easily with little pressure applied to the tool. I can also see it as useful with interior remodeling situations where you need to save interior trim by cutting it back or when fitting cabinets or bookcases into a previously trimmed space.

The SoniCrafter by Rockwell Tools is excellent for sawing, sanding, scraping, cutting, rasping and removing grout.

WHERE TO BUY:

You can purchase the Rockwell Sonicrafter for approx. $178.00  here:Rockwell-RK5107K-SoniCrafter-73-Piece-ProfessionalRockwell sonicrafter oscillating tool
