Equipter  Self Propelled Dumpster

Recently I attended the JLC LIVE  show in Providence, Rhode Island, and got my first peek at the Equipter RB4000.

The way it happened was a bit funny,  I was at the Rinnai booth speaking to a rep on their product and I kept getting this over head shadow  in my peripheral vision.  Not wanting to break  eye contact during this conversation it was driving me crazy trying to figure out what that shadow was.Equipter RB4000

I finally was able to turn around and was shocked to see an articulation dumpster 15 feet in the air.  The operator of this monster was moving it up and down, and backwards and forwards. A very cool sight indeed.
The Equipter RB4000 is a tow-able [7500 pounds] and self-propelled dumpster that can be maneuvered onto the job site or property under its own gas powered engine.   A hydraulic pump raises the dumpster to roof level, tips and empties its contents into a regular dumpster. The Equiptor RB4000 NOTEquipter rb4000 Just For Roofing Projects:The inventor at JLC LIVE was pitching the machine as a roofer tool but I can see this portable, movable dumpster being used for demo jobs as well as lifting materials up to a window or roof level.   Not sure what OSHA would say but I’m curious if it could also be used as a man lift or staging.   How Much? The Equiptor RB4000 sells for approximately $32,000 but if your in the roofing, remodeling  or demo business that cost could be recovered in short term in labor expenses alone.Plus, with its rear extension 4’ roll back feature, you can position the large container over landscaping to give you much safer and closer access to your materials.  The Equipter RB4000 is both a self-propelled and tow-able trailer. At 6’ wide, it can fit into many tight Equipter RB4000 spaces where truck and trailers cannot. Access: The Equipter RB4000 is 6 feet wide and has a very tight turning radius and the large tires to provide both accessibility and traction. The Equiptor RB4000 also has a rear extension roll back feature that extends its large container over obstacles like shrubs and flowerbeds.    Wide doors extend the catch area to 10.5’, ensuring all the debris goes into the Equipter and not t6he ground.  The dumpster will dump from any position Up high, down low.
