COAST makers of great quality knives and flashlights has a new addition to their family.   The all new rapid-response-folding-knife-by-coast is sure to be a big hit among rescue personnel, law enforcement and knife enthusiasts.   Designed  by Ron Lake the new Rapid Response knife features a patented blade-assist technology, patented double-lock system all with  Ron Lake’s reputation for quality.

The Rapid Response knife starts with the completely re-imagined SAT™ (Smooth Assist Technology™) system that’s unlike anything ever made before. The SAT  features a roller-cam built into the blade that the assisting spring rides on.  A nudge on the thumb stud  and the blade snaps open, super fast and with ease.

COAST Rapid Response knives provide a new safety Max-Lock™ system which com­pletely secures the blade when it is closed, and double locks the blade when it is open.

The COAST Rapid Response Knife has a fiberglass-filled nylon handles for strength, an ergonomic grip and has heat-treated, stainless-steel liners.

The  COAST Rapid Response Knife blade is made from 400-series stainless steel and has an ambi­dextrous thumb studs and pocket clips that are easily reversed to the other side of the handle or removed.

Rapid Response knives are available in 3-inch and 3.9-inch blade lengths, which close to 4 and 5 inches, respectively. Expected retail price for the larger knife is expected to be under $50; the smaller one under $40.
