Support Habitat For Humanity Re-Store  – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

The things we can do with unwanted items from our homes and from home projects range from hiring a dumpster, storing items until we know what to do with them, to eventually throwing away in the trash. However, there is a better solution for many of our unwanted items which are still in good shape. The answer is Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore.

The Greater Lowell Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a store located in Billerica, MA which sells new and gently used building materials, appliances, furniture and other home items, and resells them to the public at discounted prices. All sales benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell and are used to help low-income families build and purchase affordable homes in our area items to the public. All items donated to the ReStore and are a tax deductible contribution. Whenever possible, appropriate items are set aside for the construction of Habitat homes. Income from the ReStore generates funding to build more homes. The ReStore also serves an environmental purpose, keeping tons of material that might be discarded out of our landfills annually while putting them to good use as a recycled product.

The ReStore is a haven of new and used home items and building materials. Items include appliances, kitchen cabinets, lighting, furniture, tile, electrical items, paint and even the unwanted air hockey table. Donated items come from stores, contractors, and the public. The Store is open to all who love a good deal and see value in repurposing.

Habitat ReStore is located at 257 Boston Road, Billerica MA (old Iverson Ford Dealership). Hours are Tue 10-3 for donations only, Wed-Fri 9-5, and Sat 9-3pm. Donations may be dropped off any day. Store phone: 9780215-9975.
