Back when I wrote my review on the Irwin Marples Chisel Set, a bunch of newsletter subscribers, asked for me to give a set away.  Well the folks at IRWIN have agreed to give away a 6 piece Irwin Marples woodworking chisel set to one of my newsletter subscribers.

    to be honest no clue, we home school so we would see about doing some neat art. I know my husband can get pretty creative.

    When I went to the entry form it said it was for sawblades. Saw blades would be nice but I would much rather have the chisels.

    I would use them mostly for installing door hardware etc. But I do use my current various brand set for other things I make custom. It sure would be nice to have a matched set.

    I have an older set of Plastic Stanleys that are still in good shape , but a nice set of wood style ones would look nicer next to my wood lathe chisels. Just saying :)

    I could certainly improve my mortise and tenon joinery with chisels that are more reliable than my cheap, crappy big box store ones.
