New SKIL Octo Multi-Finishing Sander Is Best Under Pressureskil

New sander features Pressure Control Technology for optimal finish

With the do-it-yourselfer in mind, SKIL Power Tools launches the 7302 Octo Multi-Finishing Sander. Its compact size, easy-to-use features and eight assorted attachments make it the perfect choice when a project calls for smooth, finished surfaces in hard-to-reach places. SKIL is happy to introduce the Octo Sander today on the perfect day – the eighth of October.

Novice do-it-yourselfers don’t have to worry about sanding mishaps. With a history of designing user-friendly, smart features, SKIL has added Pressure Control Technology to the multi-purpose sander. The 7302 includes a series of pressure control lights that will indicate whether the user is pressing too hard, too light or just right. This helps keep scars and marks off the wood and ensures optimal surface smoothness.

Eight detail sanding attachments and its three-position nose, which allows for maximum use of the abrasive, make the Octo an ideal tool for almost any sanding application. It can reach tough spots and contours and adapt to various curves and shapes. With its tool-less attachment change, swapping out any of the 8 attachment is a breeze. Use the delta extension for extra reach, finger attachment to sand in tight and/or narrow spaces, slot attachment to sand in between grooves, inside and outside corner attachments for edges and the flex attachment for curved surfaces.  All these attachments will help you get into and smooth those nooks and crannies that are nearly impossible to reach with other tools.

SKIL also addressed the desire to keep work spaces clean and dust free. Micro-Filtration is an integral dust extraction system that collects and contains fine dust particles. This will deliver a cleaner work surface and will minimize air-borne particles each time it’s used. Plus with the Clear View Dust Canister, you can easily see when it’s time to empty out the canister.

The Octo comes with the eight attachments, 32 pieces of sandpaper and a carrying bag. It will be available at Lowe’s starting in October with a suggested retail price of $39.99. Visit www.skiltools.com/en/Octo for detailed product information including a product demonstration.
